The basics

Apple shocked the world with the first MacBook Air, with the laptop proving thinner and lighter than we ever expected. The new Apple MacBook Air moves the game on – it's ever smaller, at 11.6 inches, thinner, and more usable than ever.

The good

If you're in the market for a super small laptop, then we've yet to see a more desirable option than the 11.6-inch Apple MacBook Air. It's thinner than any of its rivals, features all the style we've come to expect from Apple, and offers a full sized keyboard.

The biggest improvement with the 11.6-inch Apple MacBook Air is the inclusion of more ports – not least a second USB port. It means you'll be able to have a couple of gadgets charging at once, or access your memory stick while charging your iPhone, for instance.

Despite the small screen, the Apple MacBook Air is easily as usable as bigger laptops. It features a 1366 x 768-pixel resolution, so there's more than enough space onscreen to view a couple of documents.

The bad

Despite costing over £800, the Apple MacBook Air features the previous generation of Intel processors. It's still plenty quick enough to carry out most office tasks, but it's a shame that Apple hasn't included a cutting-edge Intel Core i3 processor.

The bottom line

As with the previous Apple MacBook Air, the latest model is still a slight compromise. It's not quite fast enough to be your only computer, but if you need a travelling companion there's nothing more stylish or portable currently on the market.

England vs France match review.

England coach Marc Lievremont acclaimed England as the best team in the northern hemisphere on Saturday after the defending Six Nations champions came up short in the key match of the championship at Twickenham.
While England team manager Martin Johnson refused to even contemplate the possibility of a grand slam for his team after a hard-fought 17-9 victory, Lievremont had no such reservations.
"England are the best team in the northern hemisphere at the moment," Lievremont told a news conference. "The path to the grand slam is wide open."
France, who won the grand slam themselves last year, battled hard throughout after a nervous start.
They lost the first lineout of the match on their throw and were penalised at the first scrum after their pack was disrupted by the England eight.
After back-pedalling in the opening 10 minutes, the French fought back to tie the score 9-9 at halftime and could have taken the lead if Dimitri Yachvili had converted a fourth penalty just before the interval.
A storming period immediately after the break by the home side, resulting in a try for fullback Ben Foden, proved the turning point.
"That was the key," said Lievremont. "We didn't start very well. It was a very close game but at the start of the second half we weren't good enough.
"When England scored, the French didn't react well and they (England) were very close to scoring another try."

Modern technology, The inside review.

When I walk around my local shopping centre, I have noticed a number of the increasing gadget shops, and other technology shops. But why? I think that their is going to be a HUGE increase in the number of gadgets created and used in the near future.

Their has also been a television show created for the modern day technology created, " The Gadget Show " this programme is on channel 5, It reviews and tests all the newly released technology and gadgets and gives it a " G " rating out of 5, 1-G being the worst and 5-G being the best. The show has become a big hit on channel 5 as the years have went on and is looking like it's still going to be running on in the future, It also shows new tech and gadgets before it is even released.

The big companies such as " APPLE " have brought out the " I-PAD " and " IPOD "  which have revolutionised the use of music and the touchscreen range, with bringing out some of the best technology the world has ever seen, and it is constantly working to create new technology and gadgets. They started with the IPOD  was just a little piece of tech that had made a huge outbreak with selling millions, but since then they have brought the IPOD TOUCH out. Which is an amazing item, it's quite cheap for what you get also.

I'm sure their will be loads more tech and gadgets brought out in the near futre, and I for one, cannot wait to see what is coming!



Libya fights protesters with snipers, grenades!

There are reports at least 15 people have been killed after Libyan security forces opened fire at a funeral, as the regime struggles to suppress an uprising against veteran ruler Muammar Gaddafi.



It brings the estimated death toll in the country since the unrest began to almost 100.
The brutal crackdown comes as a wave of protests sweep through the Arab world, including Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Alergia, Tunisia and Kuwait.
With foreign journalists banned from entering Libya and internet and mobile phone communications frequently cut, reports on the violence have been sketchy, with some protesters relying on YouTube to publish images of the clashes.
Witnesses in Libya's second city, Benghazi, have described to the BBC scenes of chaos as soldiers shoot from rooftops and protesters fight troops on the ground.
One witness told the BBC that soldiers were using grenades and indiscriminately firing at protesters with machine guns.
"They're launching missiles, proper massive missiles, they're destroying Benghazi," he said.
"There's a brigade and they are just shooting people, killing them. And just about an hour ago, more than 40 people [have] been shot dead in the streets of Benghazi. And we've seen them, yes. Please let the world know that he's killing the people."

The Nintendo 3DS has just recently been brought out and looks like quite a good gadget, It is quite a big improvement to the past ds range and could be a big thing in the futre. But will the 3D view be that much of an improvement? Will it be clear that it is in 3D? It's fairly clear that the powers that be at Nintendo HD in Japan firmly believe that 3D is the future. "The 3DS will change gaming… again," executives said at the launch conference.

Could this alos be just another " quick release " that has been  rushed and released just to keep up with the current market? Their will only be another release later on in the year called the " Nintendo 3DS-I " this will blow the first 3DS out of the window, and everyone will want this one, They will keep on updating modern technology until they finally run out of ideas, If they do run out of ideas that is.

HTC Incredible S UK Release day announced!

The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy will be the first in the UK to offer the new HTC Incredible S, with first deliveries coming this weekend.The retailer has just confirmed that it will be stocking the new phone, and has begun pre-orders from its website. The first phones ordered today have been given a UK release date of 26 February, making it one of the first phones to be released after launching at MWC 2011.
The HTC Incredible S will then go on wider sale from The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy from 3 March, from over 800 outlets around the country.

Specification.
The HTC Incredible S is rocking a 4-inch screen, 8MP camera with dual LED flash and connection to HTCSense.com, as well as allowing you easy linking with DLNA connected TVs and computers.

My view.
This phone looks the buisness, and it's user interface will probably be one of the best around, but could this phone just be another blowout? Will this phone be over priced? Alot of phones look great nowerdays but they are far to over priced, most of the new phones are sold for about £400-£600 which means most people will not be able to afford it and have to view the option of getting it on contract, but the prices of theese contracts will also be over priced, with a minimum price of £35 a month. Then when this phone get's cheaper and the contract prices get lowered, another new phone will be released.

What is the best touchscreen tablet? ( Including NEW motorola xoom review! )

Which could it be? their is a number of new tablets available in the current market, but which one is the best? Most people will think it's the I-PAD, and it possibly could be, but their has been so many technological break through's, who knowes? so here is my view.

The I-PAD

The I-PAD was one of the first, if not the first tablet to be released. The I-PAD has a great user interface, and a very stylish icons and a great easy accesible menu. With this being made by apple, It gives it the use of apple Itunes, this means you have over thousands of app's to download, and they look great on the LED screen. You can get the I-PAD for around £450 and i'd rate this 9 out of 10. 

Disgo Tablet 6000 / 2GB / 7 inch Touch Screen / Android 2.1 / Tablet

The Disgo is a great tablet! this tablet is possibly one of the cheapest and a personal favourite, It has a 7 inch touchscreen which means you could put this in your pocket and take it anywhere. It also looks quite stylish with easy accesible menu, It also has the internet so you can even download applications. You can get one of theese for about £100, I'd rate this 7 out of 10

Android 3.0 honeycomb.

This is a brand new tablet on the market! The motorola xoom. The tablet has a 16:9 screen.The interface has been totally redesigned; it looks like a 3D ‘wall’ of thumbnails you scroll left and right through. It’s very similar to the Google Nexus S and it’s main menu that tails off into the distance at the top and bottom. The tablet is one of the amazing update to the current market and looks great with its new futreistic look. This tablet also has an internet option so you could download app's and go on all your favourite social networking websites.  I'm sure this will be geting used in a wide amount of countries soon enough. I'd give this a rating of 9 out of 10. I dont have a price tag for this yet, I will upload it as soon as i find out.

Tough guy from Big Fat Gypsy Wedding gets battered.

The supposible gypsy hardman got into a fight after a drinking session, his cousin Jonny Joyce has been accused. The young man told Manchester Crown Court he hit out in self-defence after Doherty lured him to the park to "do him in" following an earlier disagreement. During the trial Doherty tried to say his hardman approach was just an act to fool the cameras.But the court heard of his "fearsome reputation" and boasts on another show with actor Danny Dyer of being one of Britain's toughest men. Doherty also broke the gypsy rules by taking Joyce to court. Since the trial Doherty has been accompanied by a police guard.

This grandma helped this epic robbery by attacking the theifs with her handbag!
A passer by recorded the video and it showed the hero grandma storm up the street towards the robbers smashing up the jewellery store in northampton with sledgehammers. But to the suprise of the robbers the grandma pulled out her handbag and started to attack them! the attackers soon took off on their getaway motorbikes.

Four men aged 18, 22, 25 and 39 were arrested in connection with the incident. Who would of thought that this grandma could of scared theese away?

Ever heard of or played the ipod/phone/pad game, " Angry birds "?
well you may be one of the contributors to the 5 millions proffit the creator has made in just 6 month!

One dad has created a Youtube video of himself making his 6 year old child a " Angry birds " birthday cake, The comical video has became a web hit! with sitting basicly at the top of the youtube chart.  The dad said, " It's become a family tradition that I make increasingly ridiculous birthday cakes for my kids each year ". He made the cake out of simply, chocolate cake, and alot of icing. The cake also had a working catapult! and the origional firing birds as ammunition.

A former gypsy boxer has also made claims to the public that he had a " hard-man " act on, to make himself look in some way to have more power within their community, He has said that it was only an act for the tv-show nothing more, he said he also over exagerated his tough guy act for the cameras.

The I-PAD 2 ! release event?

Rumour has it that in San Fransisco that the " new " I-PAD 2 event is supposibly being held on the 2nd of march, but this could be witheld until june.This could possibly make the first I PAD cost less, also this could make this look less futuristic. What could be different about the NEW I-PAD?

SPORT - Cyclist Azizulhansi Awang finishes race with a 10in splinter through his leg

How would you feel if you won the cycling world cup with a 10 INCH splinter in your leg?!
Well Azizulhansi Awang is this amazing athlete, He finished the race at the Manchester Velodrome with this splinter sticking through his leg.
The 23 year old picked up the horrific wound on the final bend of the mens karin final. Hoy was leading the race and was clear of the carnage that unfolded behind him as four of the six other competitors wiped out in a huge crash.
When Awang hit the floor at full pelt he slid along the wooden track and his leg was skewered by a shard of pine torn up from the floor. The shard pierced the back of his calf and ripped through his leg, emerging through the front of his shin.
